Hello . I have a bobcat 751 and there is a plastic knob at the right hand side of the seat. It's located just below seat level at your right hand. Can anyone tell me what it does. Also do you twist it or push and pull it. Thank you.

It's the boom lower knob. If the engine dies with the boom up, you twist and pull and the boom will lower allowing you to get out, especially if you have a cab door. Most people don't know its there so it never gets used and rust tight.

Thank you for your reply. I have an operator manual for a 753 which doesn't seem to have that knob. I can't find the exact operator manual for 751 1999 with Kubota engine. If someone knows where I can buy one I would be delighted.

Can't say where in the manual talks about the knob, but all 50 series and newer have it.
