Hi guys, I have a 743b bobcat thats giving me a bit of problems, (I have no idear about these so sorry). Its seems to have lost lots of power (turning, lifting and driving) and i have noticed that the exuast smoke is much darker. I did read on another thread that is could be the hydrolic fillter under the cab....but had a look and cant see anything that looks ike a filter there..? Please help regards Wes

I'd start by checking/changing the air filters. Then the main hydraulic filter. Open the back door, there should be a large can style filter on the right hand side i think, it spins on.
How does the machine start? wondering if the engine is getting lazy or not. Does it start easily or does it require a long glow?

Does yours have aux hydraulics? My 743 the right hand lever runs that valve and I hit it with my leg and it got caught it the detent. I thought the little v1702 was crapping out before I finally noticed this was wrong.Hopefully whatever it is you get her going. Ps if that was the problem and you dont use this much you can put a bolt in the handle so it wont do this. Good luck!!!
