Hi, Is there a rubber/nylon/plastic cushion type block located on the lift arm just above the tilt cyl.mounting bracket???? My lift clys. touch the fender/ main frame of skid steer when lift arms are fully retracted. lift arm/boom has holes provided...like a cushion should be there. My parts book does not illustrate anything.Ck'd with local dealer he can't find anything either. I'm thinking there should be a cushion block between the lift arm @ the tilt cly. area and the main chain case when lift arms are retracted. Thanks, quinq

probally looking at spacer block for tracks. it kept arms up just enough to keep arm off tracks , not important unless it smashing tube lines when fully down . you put a metal block in or see the two button looking things under lift arms you can build these up to keep arm off lines.

Theres a steel block welded on the bracket under the tilt cylinder. When the loader is full down it should hit on the main frame chain case.

Thanks for the replies. It seems like a rubber/nylon type block with recessed fasteners would be better than steel to steel. Does anyone know if Bobcat offers this?

I don't believe this is factory. I guess you could make one out of a sheet of nylon?
If the cylinders are touching the chassis you will need to put a spacer under the tilt cylinder where it touches the chain case. Its possilbe the previous owner broke it and didn't replace it correctly. Add a piece of steel to this point and weld it on, it will hold the arms up slightly so it shouuldn't touch the main frame.

dont be concerned about steel to steel, keep in mind that we move dirt and rock.it aint a mercedes., steel on steel is a good thing. it might wear but is easy to replace.
