743B Axles

Is the 743B axle hub bolt right or left-hand threaded? I can't get it to budge either way.

Right hand, standard thread. They may have loctite on them and they are meant to be really tight!
I generally need to use a 3/4” drive socket and a length of pipe to crack them.

They get torqued to around 600 ft lbs so like Taz says large drive socket, breaker bar and a cheater pipe.

Thanks for the advice, guys. What I ended up doing was, since I didn't have the right sized socket, I used a 1 1/2" wrench and put the closed end on the bolt and the open end on a 6x6 block on the floor with the machine on blocks and all 4 wheels removed. Once in place, I simply got in, fired it up and moved the drive stick of the respective side and she busted right loose. Once I have the repairs done I'll borrow a friend's 3/4" torque wrench and my former employer will loan me his torque multiplier (he has generously allowed me to borrow stuff from the shop even though he laid me off) and put it back together. One question: Do I loctite it and if so, red or blue?

The manual does not say to use loctite on the outer bolts, only the internal ones. I wouldn't use any, just make sure the tapers are clean of all oil before you ut the hub back on.
Good to hear you worked out how to get the bolt off. I remember a member that used to work for Bobcat did the internal bolts that exact way.
