Ok I rebuilt the gear reduction box's and put on new chains and noticed about 1/4 inch of end play on all axles all spin very good I know I should replace bearings and seals but would like to drive it for a while to see what else needs work any ideas on long I have left on the bearings it is just a personal toy might last longer than me just don't know thank's to all

That sounds like way to much end play, You should check into it before you damage something else.
What could it damage checked again and it is less than 1/4 inch of play I just bought the bobcat blew two steal lines so had to pull the engine to fix changed the u joints and the hydro seal while I was there rebuilt the gear box's and seals new chains not to bad was only missing one roller but changed all if I knew what I know now would have dropped the whole chain case but would like to put it back together and get some work out of it before I try to put the wheel bearings and seals in to see if it needs anything else what do you all think

With that much end play the rollers are not riding centered on the races and will break, scarring the axle and causing other problem including contaminating the chain case oil. If you had to do all the other work it has been used hard and needs the bearings looked at. I think bearing preload is done with shims on that one.

What is preload how hard is it no press here

Also I can kick the hubs with the chains and wheels off and they spin about 10 seconds
It sounded like a good word to use. Just means bearings should be tight but free to rotate. It's a slow speed bearing but will have a lot of side to side loading when you turn. It is your machine and the worst that will happen is maybe replacing a axle.

Ok started taking it apart to put the bearings in what a scary pain in the xxx don't have a shop with the right stuff but have it blocked up high enough to roll the case out should I try to put the bearings in myself or take the case to a machine shop doing by myself and no hoist but think I can get it out but rely scary no dial indacator or now how to use or spell any help would be great thank you

Tazza is the man to talk to about this. You can see if he lists a e-mail address in his profile. He had pictures of this operation at one time so look in the media section /photos. before you get too far check with him, I believe you loosen the axle nuts in chain case using the hydraulic drive motors since they have hundreds of ft pounds of torque on them.

To late I had the engine out to fix some steal lines have the cab blocked up to roll the case out I think I saw where he put a big bar on the hub but would like to know how bad it is to change seals and bearings and what to look out for thank you

You will need a large wrench I don't remember the size for the axle nuts inside the case. You will also need a lot of patience as the chore of replacing all axle seals and bearings is a big PITA. A large bar on the wheel mount will get the nuts loose. Be very careful working around the sprockets they will be razor sharp. If by chance any of the axles have been replaced with the new style tapered hubs and a single bolt in the center of the wheel mount flange those will be easier to set the preload and replace the seals.

Yes found out about the sprockets lol old style hub was thinking since I will have the box off with the wheels on to get it loose putting a wrench on the bolt against the case and pulling it with the hummer in low with a short bump

Sorry for the delay, i don't get time to jump on here as much as i should.
You should have no end float at all, it sounds like your bearings are too worn and will need replacing. The front ones can be done with everything mostly in place, but the rear ones are a different story. You really need to get into the rear access plate that is under the pump.
