One of the front tyres has the tread pattern facing in the opposite direction to the other tyres..I can't swap it around as any tyre will then face in the same way,..my only option is to have the tyre removed and turned around...should I do this...dose it affect the the bobcat if I leave it...also if you suggest i have the tyre refitted ,.where abouts do I place the jack so I don't cause any damage ? thanks Vince

It won't cause any problems, but if you decide to get it turned around there is nowhere you can jack it up from that will cause any damage to the machine. Personally for the front i jack it up under the chain case. The rear i jack it up under the engine. When jacking the back up, tilt the bucket back first, don't leave it lowered onto the floor or you will be trying to lift the entire machines weight rather than lifting the back end. When you have either end up, its best to put jack stands under the axle tubes on that end. Don't rely on the jack to hold it up in the air for extended periods of time, safety first and all!.

if its bothering you enough to post about it, by all means Change it... Although I have yet to remove a tire on my cat I've done other equipment before, for the front i always just tilt the bucket (as though digging) and allow it to lift the machine up off the ground, of course you want to loosen the nut on the wheel before doing so.

Thats how i do it too actually, and when i had rear stabilizers i put them down! so simple to swap out tyres.
