With both hoses disconnected and you start the machine. One of the hoses is actually pumping fluid without actuating the spool valve? Spools have been taken out, inspected for damage and resealed. Any ideas?

What was the initial problem that resulted in you removing the hoses? Was the cylinder drifting?

I have repacked the cylinder and the drifting is fine now but i still don’t understand why it would be pumping fluid through the extending hose side??

I know it's weird, but i have found the exact same thing, i don't understand why it does it, but i found that fluid would still come out when in neutral.

Ok. Thanx. At least I’m not the only one. Maybe it’s normal than. It actually helped when bleeding air from cylinder after rebuild. 😁
