Hello again, The gland seal blew out in a big way on my 743 tilt cylinder oN the weekend. I'm trying to order a rebuild kit but there are different cylinders listed. How do I identify which cylinder I have? Serial number is 501938975 Thanks Spencer

I get my seals from a local hydraulic seal supply joint, tey match the new ones from your old ones. If you call your dealer, quote your serial number, they will know what ones you need.
To be honest, start by getting the old gland out, some are a nightmare to remove if they have been used in a harsh area, they can corrode and get stuck. Sadly, i have had to drill two glands out before, not a fun job, but means you need a gland and seals then.
Good luck!

In case anybody is wondering in the future: There are 3 or 4 possible tilt cylinders that were on these machines 1 has a welded tube that is not removable And the other 2 have a removable tube The stand offs for the removable tubes are 1.5 and 2.25" from the barrel end measured from the rod end out side of the standoff Pipe to the barrel end without the gland nut.
