my 743 when i run it at about 3/4 throttle it starts to cough and then it put put then dies! It almost seams as if it is bog it down or something but i have no load on it what so ever all i am doing is just driving forward. It only does this at higher rpms. It never does it in the lower rpms. I recently changed the fuel filter and there is good diesel in it. I cant figure it out. any ideas?

Remove the hose at the injector pump and ensure you are getting fuel flowing out when you squeeze the primer bulb. It sounds like a fuel delivery issue to me. At higher RPM any load on the engine shouldn't be an issue. Unless you are pushing it hard. Have you made sure the bleed screw is screwed all the way in and tight?

check the primer ball to see if it sucked tight, this can ocurr it is a fuel problem start the chase,

I'd check the screen on the bottom of the fuel pick up hose. it may be plugged. if it has a hole worn in it make sure to clean out the shut off valve too
