Its used to make the hour meter work. If its all too much effort to fiddle with the pressure sender, hook the meter into the same power wires that the gauges are running off. When the key is on, the gauges and hour meter will work. When the key is off, so is the meter. This is how i wired mine after i re-did my wiring harness.They are great machines, so very handy</blockquote>
