743 fuel sender wires

I just bought a 753.
The fuel sending unit is disconnected.
It has 2 ground wires going into 1 eyelet and , I presume , a hot with 1 eyelet running beside it.
The sender has 1 post in the middle and no other post for wires.
What wire hook where ?

use a volt meter to the single wire and turn key on you should get voltage , if you do that wire goes to the single center post on sender, the other wires are a ground , you can verify by using the volt meter on ohms going to the wires and negative side of battery or frame , should read only a few ohms of resistance or none.
