I am trying to replace the Pivot Arm Bushings on my 743 DS Bobcat, I have everything apart ready to go back together but on the right side the bushing is not a friction fit in the hole, It is not sloppy loose but does slide in and out pretty easy. The left side is still very tight. Can I just throw 2 little spot welds on the outside of the bushing to hold it in place? I assume if I do nothing the bushing will work its way out the side?

Can you use the centre punch trick to try and tighten it up? Go around the inside of the boss with a centre punch putting bumps on it to make it hold in there better?
Sounds like the wear got a little too bad and caused it to open up slightly. I'm not sure if a few spot welds will hold it in place. I'd like to go centre punch and loctite, you don't want it spinning creating more wear later.
