Picked up a 1987 743 with 4400 hours and spent some time cleaning it up and a service. It's my first skid steer I've owned and I'm impressed with the machine given its age and size.
When I ran it for an hour the coolant style cab heater wiring started to smoke. I disconnected the wiring to it.
I can't find any info in the manual referencing a cab heater. Could anyone give me a overview of it's operation ?
Also, I'm weak at auto-electrical so I colour coded the wiring diagrams for my machine according to manual spec. As in, the colour of the diagram matches the colour of the wire that is supposed to be on the machine.
Attached them as well in case they may be helpful to anyone else.
