Hi Everyone, new to the forum. Picked up a '87 743 in rough shape as my first skidsteer. I got it cleaned up as pictured here. Has 4400 hours. Seems to be in overall good shape. I do have milky oil from the chaincase so I'm hoping a drain, clean, refill and new gasket will solve that.
Very impressed with the machine so far.
After running it for an hour the coolant style cab heater wiring started to smoke. I disconnected the wiring from the heater. I can't find any information in the manual referencing the heater. Can anyone give a brief overview of operation?
Also I'm weak at auto-electrical so I colour coded the wiring diagram for my machine and posted them here in case anyone might find that useful.
