Just picked up a 743 and I'm in the driveway with help from the wife trying to install new cab lift shocks and can't seem to compress them enough to get the pins put back in with the cab in any position. Hope I don't have to remove the pivot bolts ?? Any tricks or what am I missing? Thanks for any help.....

There are a stop blocks at the rear of the cab that need to come out in order to pivot the cab back enough to get the shocks on. Its best to support the cab with a overhead hoist.

Thanks OldMachinest !! Thought about that but didn't think the radius would allow it yet. Saved some cussin and possibly a broken diget or two !!!
