743 Bobcat Bob Tach Bushing Change

Just curious who all has done this? Ours are getting pretty worn out. I'm guessing its the bushing in the lower arms where the bob tach bolts to the lift arms. If the bucket is in the air and you spin around or go back from side to side you can see the bucket move back and forth a few inches each way. I know I need to do something about it, but I don't know where to start. I believe we have the older style lift arms that are squared off on the bottom. (40 series) or something. I can try and take some pictures soon if that would help out any too. Thanks, Kyle

Depending on the wear, the buchings inside the bobtach may be intact enough to be removed and replaced.
The issue is, if there is too much wear, the buching may have worn through and has worn the boss out too. Depending on the gear you have, you can remove the boss and weld a new one in.
With the bobtach off, you can weld a rod and attach a slide hammer to remove the bushing. Some have welded a bead to make it collapse and pull it out.

Cut mine out with a dermal and punched new ones , pins were fine and the side to side movement use washers to shim
