Glad it was so simple.
The hoses should be the same size, i *think* 3/4” 2 per side plus a small case drain of about 1/4”. If they are different sizes the previous owner may have changed them at one stage with the wrong sized ones.
I'm just not sure if it would cause a huge issue or not, i don't know if back pressure on the exit side of the motor would cause any damage. It could however cause slower operation though. If you change the hoses, ensure they are 4 wire and rated for 5,000 PSI. You can get 2 wire thats rated at 5,000 PSI but the pressure spikes can cause them to split even though its rated for it. I was told this by a hydraulic hose doctor, so i had to take his advise.
