I have a late 70's Bobcat 732 with a ford 4 cylinder gas motor in it. Motor was running fine while it was idling next to my barn. It stalled like it ran out of fuel. When I went to start it again the starter would not turn the motor over. I pulled the starter out and tested it, everything works fine. I can barely turn the motor over with a pry bar, even after I pulled the spark plugs out. Could it be possible that one of the pumps went bad and caused the motor to stall? Thank you for any info you can provide.

Would think that maybe its the motor, split the two just enough to uncouple and try turning the motor.

That is what i'm affraid of, it ran so good when I started it up. That is probably what I will do when I tear into it. Thank you for your time.
Ensure your aux hydraulics are not engaged. Pull the right lever all the way to the left and let it spring back to centre. Being a fane pump, i don't think this is your problem, but worth a try.
Pulling the motor is the next step to see whats tight.
