The vane pump on my 732 was making a lot of noise, got it apart and found the rotor was broke, luckily no other damage. The problem is this- I forgot to mark the pump housing before I took it apart, so I was wondering if anybody knows the correct rotation for the pump? I know it is dependent on the placement of the cartridge. On another note, the pump doesn't have any markings on it other than a Vickers emblem. I can see that standard Vickers cartridge kits are only around 85 bucks, but the aftermarket bobcat kit is over 200. So I am wondering if there is any way of identifying the pump and saving some cash by ordering a standard Vickers cartridge. Thanks in advance! have a good weekend everyone

I may be a little late to this one, but from memory, the drive pump you have is a TA1919V12? this number should be stamped on the aluminium drive pump part. The V12 is the hydraulic pump displacement, 12GPM.
If there is minimal wear on the front and back faces, there is no reason why a new cartridge won't work. Direction, pretty sure it will be anti-clockwise when you look frm the bucket of the machine. You can confirm this by bumping the starter to see what direction the shaft turns.
Hopefully that will get you out of trouble. If not, look up my profile and sned me an email.
