Hi,

I have my hydrostatic pump out and all of the hand/foot controls out as well.
I'm wondering if I should do ahead and replace the spool valve seals?
I dont remember there being a leak, but with my luck, itll start leaking as soon as I have everything together.

How difficult is it to replace these seals?

If the control block is already out, do it.

Do all the O rings and seals, even in the load checks. I had lift arms that fell on my 731, i had bad load check O rings that fixed the issue.

I am not sure but be careful when removing the cap I think there might be a spring and a ball in there.

That's what I'm afraid of. The control block is not out but I guess I could pull it out. I guess I'm initially intimidated by it. I'll have to check the manual to see if I start pulling stuff, how much I could mess it up.
