hi we have a 731 the problem is when the muck grab we have fitted to the machine opens fine, but when we close it its very slow and with no pressure ?.we have swapped the pipes over no change, when we move the lever left or right there is a rod that goes to the box with all the pipes coming from it,we have adjusted that in and out but still no change, there is also new oil./filters etc and the arms are all fiine and tilts fine.please help.thanks jason

Just a thought: have you checked out the cylinder on your grab? There could be one bad seal on the piston that is allowing the fluid to leak around the piston in the one direction. HTH.

Has it always been this way? It may have been designed to close slowly. If so it has a restrictor orifice in the line that closes the cylinder.

Hi all, fixed the muck grab problem,it wasnt the grab/ram at all it was in the spool box/vessel on the side where all the oil control comes from.the rod from the box to the lever had a o ring in the wrong place and a spring on the end of rod that was undone...job done hope this helps anyone with the same problem.thanks jason.
