WANTED: Rear wiring harness for a 722 (PN 6562657). This is for the 1.6 L Ford gasser. The 722 is the only model that uses this harness. NLA from Bobcat. Anyone that has a blown engine from a 722 might have this harness and consider selling it.

Can you not repair your old one?
The harness on these older machines is quite simple, nothing like the newer ones with a harness with a good 30+ wires in it.

I've considered making up a new harness is I can't find one. I have a question on that. Do I need to run an entire resistor wire from the coil to the rear harness plug or just a particular length? For instance if I repair my current harness I will need to extend it and want to know if a small section of non-resistor wire can be used? Also if I'm going to replace w/ resistor wire what is the spec on that?

I'd like to think you don't need resistor wire, if you need a resistor the for ignition system, a resistor should be mounted to the distrbutor.
Hopefully someone with a 722 can tell you this for sure.

The coil I'm using requires an external resistor. I guess that could be either a resistor or resistor wire. The 722 was built using a resistor wire. I guess I could mount an external resistor and replace the resistor wire with standard wire. I'd hate to do that as I've just gone to the expense of putting in a brand new coil
