722 Bucket Hydraulics

The bucket on my 722 works curl-down but it doesn't work curl-up. The manuals I have don't detail how the foot pedal linkages connect to the spool valves. I can't get at that area yet until I can remove the bucket to let the hoist down.

Questions -

1. Are there two linkages at the spool (up/down) where the up may have become disconnected?
2. Could the spool fail such that it would work in only one direction?
3. Any other ideas?
