709 Sub-standard hydraulics (Made in Mexico?)

Help Support SkidSteer Forum:

Thanks guys, I have some leaking cylinders on the backhoe so it will be coming apart and then I'll see if I can make(or maybe buy) the restrictors. I almost bought a HF mini metal lathe on sale last month but got a bandsaw instead. Let's see, metal lathe, tig welder, plasma cutter, .......
I do love my lathe, so much you can do with one. Bandsaw is great too, just setup the job and walk off, come back and it's done. No need to fighting with the cut off saw to do the cut, slow and steady.

all posts great, and buy the way im chasing that weak and loud 709 again, wish i had kept the old valve, leaks i can stop. as to slowining it down there are oriffices avail for swing, different sizez, a small copper bell shape, was made for swing slow down, # 10 jic ithink. as to getting pwr back and noise reduction , i got no friggin idea,(on new taco valve)? old valves old 709 no problem porta pwr the reliefs and dial em in. always kept within spec for fear of boom dipper metal breakage, but when done and brought to hi side,(200 psi makes a huge diffarnce at sticks) that bkt will drag you around, so in closining to retirerate dude was right , so moving fowaed i am wide open to suggestions as to how to resolve issues on newer backhoes, off the wall ok . this is the hand we we were dealt, up to us to play it, thoughts ideas, all welcome.(dont beat the dead horse) this is what we have how do we deal with it. we got a solid resource of experaince here, lets figure it out,
