Boom valve on my 709 locks under pressure so that it will work in three directions but not boom up. Tried taking plug out of bottom of valve, that let valve work until pressure was applied again. What do I do to bleed valve or what?

I didn't believe these attachments had balance valves that would need bleeding, so the issue has to be something else.... The qiock couplers aren't around the wrong way are they? have you tried reversing the oil flow to the attachment?

thats what i'm thinking. the attachments don't bleed, the bobcat self bleeds the whole system on its own

I haven't tried that but all the other valves work as does the other three sides of the boom valve. That is an easy try. Does anyone know where to get a break down of the valve assembly? It seems like the valve pressure relief doesn't work but can't find anything to show such a thing. Thanks for the comments
