The first paint chip on thats gonna hurt!

Verrry Nice! Likely tougher paint and better plating than factory. Nothing better than truly knowing the drivetrain either. Very few electricals to ever hassle with. Much less than new cost. Wish I was restoring mine right now. Thanks for the pics! Maybe Bobcat should do factory rejuvenations like Nissan did with the Z.

Very impressive!
As Ken said, the first scratch REALLY gets to you, but the next few doen't hurt anywhere as much. My 743 was like this, but didn't come out as good as yours!

That is a thing of beauty!

Are all the lines being replaced or are you CAD plating them somehow?
He got them plated, now i want to get it done to mine :) they sure make it look sweet! i cleaned and painted mine white, looks good but not the same.

That's one lucky Bobcat to end up in your hands. Instead of being beat up by workers who do not care, that Bobcat will have a life with an owner that knows it better than the factory did. As for electroplating, I clean my old steel lines as well, and either painted them or zinc plated them myself at home. The solution I used was just muriatic acid, zinc from old batteries dissolved in the acid and ammonia mixed in. It comes out gray though.

Thanks for the comets the lines ,fittings and misc stuff were zinc dichromate the black is powder cote I have located a bobcat salvage yard that is supposed to have hundreds of machines and it is less the 100 miles a way so I will be making a trip to check it out in a few days (need to recoup after vacation)I want to find a better cage and some msic stuff.
