well, the outfit I paid to rebuild my tilt cylinder didn't pan out so well, they installed the rod wiper backwards, so I took it apart, and $12 later all is well. Put it back in an reinstalled it and it works awesome, only problem is that the pump os really growling when I am operating the hydraulics. No noise when operating the hydrostatic. I am thinking there is still a bit of air in there, and if I run it long enough it'll work its way out of the system, afterall there was alot of air in that cylinder and it did get better the 10 minutes or so I ran it. Anyone ran into this before, any hyrdaulic system I have worked on in the past complains for about 5 - 6 cycles and then gets quiter. This one seems to be taking longer. Any advice?

Totally normal, just keep running it. It will bleed eventually.
Running it for a few minutes at a time i found to work well, the oil foams up and you let it sit and it settles out so you draw in fresh oil without air.
Time is your friend in bleeding the system.

Thanks, figured as much, but it is always nice to hear from someone else....
