642 header gasket

The exhaust manifold appears to be designed for a donut style gasket while the header pipe is a flat flange. The flat gasket that was on it had burned through on the top and bottom. Can someone tell me what I should be using here?

Is there a donut gasket that will work with a flat flange? Maybe half a donut? The dealer only had a flange gasket but I know that will just burn up like the last one did.

donut and a belt sander, flaten it . My saturn is the same way gasket and the exhaust manafold has a donut hole style.
