The right side does not have much power and it gets to bucking like a wild horse,I had it up on blocks and every thing seemed to be OK,but on the ground it's a wild ride.I saw an article about sanding the wear plates awhile ago,but can't seem to find it again.Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks,Phil

Personally, i'd start by swapping motors, see if the problem follows. If it does, its a motor, if not its the pump.
If the problem is the pump, you can pull it out and do the wear plates. A sheet of glass and wet and dry sand paper will generally bring them back to life. Even new plates aren't that bad.
If you do poke around the pump, keep it clean! and work on one side at a time, don't mix the parts up. What comes out of the rear pump must stay in the rear pump. same for the front.

this will have nothing to do with the power issue but you can cure a lot of the hopping by putting in new bushings on the steering linkages. The ones with the rubber in them. also replace the bearings on the outer ends of the shaft that the levers mount on. a little wear there makes a lot of difference and all the bushings and bearings don't cost all that much.
