I am trying to remanufacture the lever system for the BobTach on my old 630. (The dealer doesn't have them in stock and ordering them at nearly $100 each plus other associated parts, drives me to machine up my own as I have more time than money these days). My machine had all this mechanism pulled off from it when I got it so I'm working from a parts manual and just reverse engineering it. Could someone confirm the shape of the levers for me? What I can not tell from the manual is whether or not the levers laid in a flat plane, that is, can I machine one out of say 3/8" flat stock or is there a bend / offset in the lever. I was thinking of turning a boss and welding it through the flat stock to give it better registration. If I compensate for some offset via the boss, I can make one design fit both left and right. Or, does someone see where I'm headed wrong? Thanks

Yours will be different to that though, yours will use the square wedges, not the round ones. The round ones are far better, the quares ones tend to wear and allow the attachment to get sloppy.
Look up my profile and send me an email. I have a mad mates 743 at home that is getting worked on/rebuilt. I have not yet attached the bobtach as it is welded to the bucket. But when i do, i can get piccies and dims of the wedges etc. I assume that is all you need?
Current;y it is all rusted together, not sure when i will get it all pulled apart though. Piccies can be taken if you aren't in a huge rush.
