to the person who wrote about having his own rim centers made...for my 610 I just purchased on ebay new skid steer wheels for $364. They're 16.5 x 8.25 with 4 3/8 offset. I thought I measure correctly but I guess not. i want to run the 10" bobcat tires I bought but when I put the bare rim alone on the hub the edge of the rim sits right on the side of the machine, let alone room for the wider tire, and clearance from the machine on top of that. Im not sure where to go. I hate to do it but considering cutting the centers and rewelding them with more offset for the clearance I need. Im a bit nervous though. Right now the centers are just about center. Im going to have to mover them quite a bit but concerned about the strength though they are pretty sturdy rims. Were your homemade wheels a very deep dish wheel?

I was also wondering what size tires and wheels the 610 came with from the factory?
I did a set for my 440b using old garden tractor rims. It is not an easy job. We plasma cut out the centres and then welded on new "flanges" to the "spokes". The flanges were pre-bent to follow the radius of the inside of the rim hoop using a brake press, and then turned in a lathe to get them round and to size. A piece of pipe about the same diameter as the bolt circle, cut to the same length as the required back spacing was used to set the offset, and all was clamped down to a flat welding bench for final assembly. If you have all of the equipment, it can be done. Can you simply reverse the rims to get the correct backspacing? I think that 610's came from the factory with 7.00-15 tires. HTH - SR
