Hi guys, Googled and found this site, but not the answer to my question. I hope you can help me out. I would appreciate it! We have a 610 bobcat with hydraulic problems. Its been unused for almost a year now. The hydraulics were stuttering mostly in the lift but also in the tilt when we got it running. We checked and filled with hydraulic oil. Still the same problem. Then we bought a new hydraulic filter and changed it. We also changed all the hydraulic oil. The problem remains. Very stuttering and most of the time the lift does not go all the way up. Last week I ran it and made the arm rise all the way up after some time. When I do this the lift works okay until I let it rest in position for maybe 30 seconds or more, then its stuttering and not going all the way up again. I had to work very fast and use the lift constantly to move all the snow out of our driveway. When I constantly raised/lowered the arm to end positions the hydraulics felt relatively smooth with just minor stuttering from time to time. Today I was going to move some snow again but it would not tilt or lift more than a few centimeters, and after a while it did not move at all. What can be the problem you think? Btw, the hydraulic oil pressure indicator is either stuck or damaged, it does not move at all! Thank you all in advance /Markus - Sweden

The stuttering you descibed sounds like air in the system. Normally the air will work its way out with use. But if it doesn't then you likely have a leak on the suction side of the pump. Ether a loose fitting or a hose with a hole. I'd start by tightening the fittings and if that doesn't help then replace the hose between the pump and tank. I've uploaed the parts and service manuals here. http://www.mediafire.com/?y3dpcuf6brbvd

Thank you very much for your suggestion and the uploaded files! I will check all the fittings tomorrow. I'll get back with the result either way. Cheers Markus

Today I did a check on things but could not find anything strange. However, the hydraulic oil level was a bit low so we added aprox 6-7 liters and now it runs better but not good. Also its been in our workshop over the night so it was maybe +10 degrees celcius when started. Yesterday it was outside and we had about -15 degrees celcius. Will see how it runs tomorrow when its cold again.
