I finely had time to get the new to me 610 in the shop to start the engine rebuild . When I bought this one last spring it sucked so much air that the pump would not prime . It had no oil leaks after getting it primed . the book say's in the trouble shooting that they can suck air from the variable speed relief valve . This is where all the lines go to the steering clutches and the variable control . I found a small rock wedged in the relief valve poppet . I hope this helps some one who is thinking pump failure .```
