I have a1997 553. Ican raise the lift arms but not lower them also tilt down but not up any ideas where to start

Thanks we were wondering about that. The spool piece seems to be stuck im going to onhook the rod to see if i can move it .

Hi. Were you able to fix you problem? I just had the same thing happen to me . I sure could use some help.
