Coming back to the guru's for some info! Thanks in advance. Had a chaincase full of oil. Removed drive motors, found seal kits, changed seals. PROBLEM! the commutator on one drive motor had cracks in it. Now apparently I was lucky enough to purchase the used machine that still has the discontinued drive motors on it. Cant find a commutator anywhere, no parts available anywhere. Couple questions. 1 Big bucks to update both motors! Do I have to also replace the sprocket for the new motor? 2 Does ANYBODY have a spare commutator?

i'm not familiar with the motors on the 543 .however i got all the help i needed on my 843 from western hydraulics in riverside CA. .I called them and started asking them about my pumps and motors ..they said hold on a minute ...what machine do you have ?? i told the 843 bobcat ...he said we know exactly what you have in that machine and we have everything you need. and they did ...and at a very reasonable price ..
