540 Bobcat dies

Sorry if this has been asked before. My 540 Bobcat with a gas engine will run fine for 35-45 minutes and then act like it's running out of fuel. When I check the see through fuel filter there is no gas in it, let it sit for 30 minutes and it starts right up.

Replace the filter first then the lines your sucking air somewhere most likely the filter is bad

Sounds like the fuel cap vent is clogged causing a vacuum in the tank that the fuel pump can't overcome . Next time it does it loosen the fuel cap right away and listen for air being sucked in.
