Hi guys, Just got a 2002 463 for a steal, but like most things there is a reason, The right hand drive seems to have a mind of its own. To start you have to pull the lever back as though its not in neutral. Once started it runs of for a while, then suddenly will try to kick on that side making the engine nearly die out. When moving the machine runs straight then suddenly the drive on the right hand side over powers the left drive and pushes the machine round. Has any one else had this and if so any pointers? Thanks Jon

Not sure if you're describing a constant issue or an intermittent issue, if it's constant first thing to check is the linkage to your pintle shafts. There's a centering spring on each pump pintle shaft that's adjustable with bolts on the other side to center the steering. If the pintle levers are worn or the spring is broke that could cause an issue like you were describing.

I second those thoughts, this is not an uncommon issue.
