I am new to this forum but not to Bobcat Skid Steers. I picked up a 450 with only 300 + hours last week, the machine was a home owner owned and used machine that was serviced by the local dealer. Very clean and tight machine lacking many of the usual dings and scratches you would find on a machine 18 years old. This machine has aux Hydraulic lines, I have not had time to remove the lock bolt from the valve to see if all the aux hydraulics works; however, the couplers are not the normal flat faced couplers seen on skid steers. These couplers appear to be 'Pioneer Style' farm coupler which show no sign they have been used. Are these the normal or original couplers for this machine or were they changed? I have enjoyed the comments on the forum and the information provided here. I love the little bobcats for there versatility even though through the years I have taken a lot of ribbing for using my 'powered wheelbarrow'.

Likely the “pioneer style” couplers were original equipment. Bobcat called them poppet style. They changed to using the flat face style I think in the late 90's. You can just remove them and install new flat face ones with the right thread.
