443 pivot pins and bushings

Has anyone ever replaced the pivot bushings on the bobtach on one of these machines? the parts diagram shows a weld on bushing. It looks like a real PITA to get off and weld a new one on. Is it an option to just bore out the old one over a 1/4" and put a sleeve on it? Thanks

Are you talking about the eye on the end of the tilt cylinder, or the pivot points on the bobtach?
