440B ROPS

Hello, I'm a new owner of an older 440B. It seems generally solid but needs some love.

My first challenge is to make something that can open and hold the ROPS easily. I can lift it now but I'm on the old side of 50 and there will come a day that I may not be able to.

What's the hot ticket?

The later model 440 came with a gas spring to help with the cab.
Not sure if yours came with one or not. If it has one you may need to try and find a replacement. If it did not have one you could probably figure out a way to add one or two of them.
