I have a Bobcat 371 and need new rims. The lug holes are hogged out and will not tighten properly. The current size is 12 x 8. The tires are 23 x 8.50 x 12. The tires are badly worn as well. Is it best to replace w/the same size, or can I replace w/14" rims. The reason I ask. is there seems to be more availability in the 14" size. Thanks, Jon

14" rims will cause an issue with the bucket not setting level, unless you can get a different size tire to keep the overall diameter of the wheel/tire combo the same as the original. If the only problem is the wholes being wollered out, check with a welding shop...they may be able to fix them cheaper than new rims.

I checked with the local tire shop, and I can get new 8 x 12 rims for $60 each. I think that's the route I will pursue. Thanks, Jon
