Bobcat Tilt /Lift now every morning when I start the machine up (Codes 32-40 or 32-35) – This ONLY happens when I use both the lift and tilt at the same time. If I just use one at a time no problem – the second I use them both I have either one of the codes, mostly the 32-40 Lift not in Natural. I don’t believe it’s electrical – I have chased all of that down already / I believe this is a Hydraulic issue with the BICS. This is a 2002 – 863G with AHC – metal box (W/Push button float joysticks, and bucket positioning - NO foot pedals) – I’ve recently found out If I shut off the machine and leave the BOOM all the way up and walk away for about 45min to 1hr, everything works perfect for the rest of the day – I cannot make it fail. This seems like something must be stuck/blocked in the BICS hydraulics and gets released once the pressure builds up or the pressure is released. I’m wondering if it could be a check valve, lift or lock valves or the BICS Valve itself I bench tested it the BICS Valve it seem to move when I applied 12v to the Solenoid - I don’t know hydraulics that well – I wanted to get help from the experts before I chase my tail any further. I’ve been chasing this for 2 years now thinking it was electrical – I think I have ruled that out. Everything works perfect now except for this issue with the Lift / Tilt as I stated above when I leave the BOOM up and shut the machine off and walk away for about 1hr. everything works perfect for the rest of the day… This only happens when I put the machine away for the night with the BOOM down the next day I have the issue all over again. I did find one problem when I removed the Main relief valve, Per the drawings I reviewed there was 1 missing o ’ring and back up ring (Replaced those just last week). What I have done over the past 2 years. Replaced the main controller – Voltages were not up to spec. at first – When I first bought it. Checked all electrical connections all up to spec’s – Voltage, and Ohms Replaced every connector pin in all of the wire harnesses – I know I was bored and it’s not difficult with the right tools. Replaced Solenoid, Bench tested the AUX valves both – Seem to be fine. (AUX stems seem to be fine bench tested and they work fine). Replaced Actuators both the Lift and Tilt. Replaced Tilt/Lift spool springs and seals. Battery reads fine – when I put a load on it, it’s at 960cc and State of Health is about 90% Alternator puts out between 13.6 to 14.2volts when running – I have the Deluxe Panels that reads the voltage also checked with Voltage meter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The codes are for the sensors in the handles, not in neutral, X axis right joystick out of neutral. First I would swap joystick sensors from left to right and see if your codes change. If they do then you will need the updated joystick sensors from Bobcat.

Thank you Bswwood - I really appreciate the input. I really believe it’s a hydraulic problem. Over the past 2 years I’ve read every post I could find online, plus I’ve already tried everything from those post, swapping actuators, new actuators, new sensors for the joysticks, every pin in the connectors replaced (It’s not electrical issue). Everything reads/test to spec. electrically. (I’ve seen one post where the guy did the up-grade, that did not work for him either. I’m positive it’s a hydraulic issue, something in the BICS. I’m still working on it, as soon as I have it resolved I’ll post it. If anyone has any suggestions on what could be causing the problem in the BICS I’m all ears - working on changing some of the valves now - Just waiting on parts… (I know I should just rebuild the BICS, I'm being lazy and don't fell like pulling it out. Thank you for any comments!!! It’s much appreciated. I can move each individually boom and tilt no issues at all. It’s only when I move them both together (It's a Intermittent problem) . If I lift the boom all the way up and dump the tilt fully - a few times individually everything begins to work as normal - making me think some valve is stuck, then it un-sticks letting everything work as normal.... (it has 3800hrs on it.)

One thing I forget, I had a new computer put into it last yet.. It has the latest software in it as well.

The issues seems to be resolved.. I had a very small leak in the bobtach cylinder seal - I beleive this was causing the computer to read a pressure issue - on start up (Becsue the issue was only on start up - after it warmed up it would go away) - Once I fixed the seal issue on the bobtach (5 months ago) I have not had the issue again.. It's been at least 5 months - No issue.
