Hi Guys, new to this forum and was wondering if any of you had a way to test whether or not my float function is working? this is on a foot controls machine and I cant really tell if the left pedal is going into float or not??

When you pivot the pedal forward past what feels like the stop it should go into a detented position that holds the pedal there. Then if you roll the bucket out (dump, while bucket is flat on the ground) like you are going to lift the machine the boom should start to lift up rather than lifting the front of the machine. If that is what happens then your float is working.
