Ive got a T770 with 1300hrs on it. Never had a single issue with machine. Doing a rough grade on a lot not working the machine hard at all throws a code that says coolant temperature is high and goes into shutdown mode. I let the machine cool down and check radiator for build up nothing check for fluid and tank is empty and then check oil and level is several inches above full. So now Ive got coolant in my oil. My question is could this be anything besides a bad head gasket or crack in the head or block. This machine only has 1300hrs on it and has been maintained daily. Its out of the 3 year warranty but still holds Emissions warranty for another year or so.

I recently read of a guy who was running his machine and the recycle regenerate cooler ruptured (he said) and put coolant in the engine, what kind of machine I do not know. But I remember it was a Kubota engine he was selling as parts.

The 2016 T770 will have the Doosan D34 engine. I would first check the oil cooler which is under the oil filter. Remove and clean. Use low air pressure >30 psi and pressurize the coolant tubes and check for air leaking into the oil side.
