I have noticed that the hydrostatic drive belt has been squeaking and I readjusted the tension the other day and it seemed worse. I then removed the belt and the whole hydrostatic mount is loose from the back of the engine! Has anyone ever had this happen? All the bolts appear to be out of the bracket that bolts to the block. I can’t tell if they are broken off or all just backed out. I have attempted unsuccessfully to realign the bracket and start a bolt but it is nearly impossible to get to the bolts. I plan to pull the engine and inspect and figure I will have to remove the pump then and reattach it to the motor and then reinstall the assembly. Any insight? Is this common? Any pointers on removing the engine/pump assembly?
