I bought a l225 that had an engine fire, replaced all wiring, long story short, got machine going and everything works but the engine temp on the digital readout. It is stuck on -22 f. I have juice going to the temp sender. Also the hyd. oil temp on the digital readout works but the bar graph for the hyd. temp and coolant temp. don't work either. Like i said all wiring is new and all sending units are new. The instrument cluster is still the original. Looking for a little guidance on this.

Using an ohm meter check for continutiy of the wire from the temp sender to pin 25 of the insturment panel connector. If there is continuity, then check for continuity to ground, there should be none when the wire is disconnected from the sender. If the wire is good then it is either the instrument panel or the sender.

Mike no continuity. I checked the wire diagram should be wire 257 for the plug in for the instrument cluster. Which is right. But my machine has the 3 prong plugin on the sender side, when i got the new harness they gave me the upgrade sender to match the wire harness. The machine had the old style sender in it. Just fyi. I am going tip the cab up and check the plug in that plugs into the engine harness for continuity. Thanks for your help.

Also if i unplug the temp sender i do get a 3000 fault. But no 3007 or 3008. So it is reading something coming from the sender. fyi. Probably another update tomorrow night.
