Okay here is my problem I hope someone can point me in the right direction. A number of months ago my Jensen stereo no longer worked. Now this was a dealer installed option, I checked the fused and changed it anyway still nothing anyway I got busy and put aside finding the issue, anyway this particular machine is my personal one none of my guys use it so it doesn't get moved much from the shop but on occasion I actually have to work and that’s when I noticed the parking brake would no longer engage or light up. So I did the normal thing searching for a blown fuse didn't find one and again tracing this down went on the back burner then another time I noticed the little horn no longer worked. So here are three things that need attention so today I chose to really begin looking into the radio end after spending the previous 2 days without anything other then my thoughts scary place my thoughts. So I started with a multi meter on the power lead and inline fuse for the radio, realized two things 1)no power from what ever the source for the dealer installed radio 2) I wasn't real happy with the readings or lack of them from the radios inline fuse so I replaced it, Then I took power from the in cab light go the radio on so I was sure it worked. No I go back to the fuse box and pulled every single relay and fuse checked them all one by one. I found 1 blown 5 amp fuse that was located in "F-8 5A ACS/AWS/SJC Switched" So I install a new one fire the machine and instantly get like 4 codes and the machine won't operate nor move pulled the fuse its still good put it back in still the same codes. The machine will not FUNCTION with that fuse in, out the machine operates perfectly without that fuse in THIS MAKES NO SENSE TO ME. All three problems still exist with the fuse installed or out and I don't know that these three things are connected in the same circuit but I can't help but think they have to be connected. The dealer wants to charge me $90 just to hook it to a lap top. this machine has had 1 new joystick (under warranty) and 1 computer(not under warranty out of my pocket SO I WOULD REALY like to solve this in house but electrical is a weak area of expertise so I need some help fellas anybody got any ideas
