I'm having problems with starting the skid steer. It will not start at first, it just cranks; then if I turn off the key and try it again it will start. Sometimes it takes a couple of times before it will start, and it is getting worse. Once running it runs fine.

I'd check the fuel shut off solenoid, if it's sticking or has a bad relay it could be the cause.
If there is no fuel getting to the injector pump, it won't start, you try again, the solenoid may work then you get fuel.

Thank you Tazza, now for the dumb question!! Where is the fuel shut off soleniod? I the relay behind the cab in the fuse box?

Does it just hard start when cold or all the time? If its just when cold make sure the preheat system is working too.

If the aux hyd handle is not in the neutral position it will crank but not start.
