2006 Case 450 Grinding noise

Hey guys recently bought a 06 case 450, and when i bought it heard some grinding noises when driving/ turning so figured chains were lose, tightend up the chains and it still does it, and its making it alot more now, sounds almost like the hydraulic pump is grinding on the flywheel. Anyone else experience anything similar ? any help would be apprecated ! Dont want to replace the hydraulic pump, then have it turn out its the drive motors...

Sorry, never used one.
Does it make this noise when driving straight or when turning?
If you can disable the brake and remove a drive motor. Rotate the wheels, does it still grind? This will help work out if its the chains/bearings or not.
Does it do it on both sides? As in if you try and push the left stick on its own?
