I was cleaning up blackberries on a property to make room for a new fence. Started pushing a pile to a hole I was filling. Backed up to grab more blackberries and noticed it was not tracking straight. Moved forward and backed up again same thing happened. Drove machine onto driveway and got out to inspect. No leaks that I could see or broken parts. Backed down driveway to push more blackberries. Went to turn right to line up with the pile I could hear what sounded almost like a hesitation coming from out back when I tried to steer right or left. So I knew then I needed to load up and get home. Drove to trailer, as I got there it got worse and worse. So now it will only has drive function down and left and up and right but very limited. I think the pumps are ok because I still have all loader function. Left drive works but very limited and right drive moves very little then locks up. I'm thinking electrical but have not looked into it yet. Just getting ideas where to look and seeing if any one else has experienced this. Thanks!

I don't know ASV machines, but that doesn't sound like an electrical issue, it sounds more like your pumps are't working right.
It's not as simple as a plugged filter is it?
No warning lights?

Sounds like it could be a possibility of three things (or possible more). The one I'd look at first is the Pilot control joystick. A total of 6 hoses run to it. Internally you could have a bad valve/seal leak. Normally you will see oil seeping from the small plunger/valves that work from the joystick. Second place to look is at the Pilot generation manifold, all of your hoses from your drive and loader arm functions run to it (kinda like the brains of it). It has a total of 6 Spool valves , two are three position 4-way Hydraforce solenoid activated and the rest are single stage. Make sure all the 12V solenoids are operating, a weak one will cause you drive issues and or Loader Arm issues. They magnetically activate the spools. Last thing I would suspect is the drive motors. I honestly never seen two go at the same time. But anything is possible. Pull your hydraulic filters check for contaminates also. Without actually seeing what the machine is doing I'm just giving you things I've encountered with ASV's. With mechanics there are always new issues arising depending on the machine.
